London 2012 Logo Design

For awhile now, I've had this thought of the logo designed for London 2012.

On the contrary.. I find this logo actually an interesting topic. I feel that it does represent London (GASP!)

I mean the whole design, this is oh so London. I wouldn't have expected anything else to be completely honest. The logo is rather.. bold and ambiguous at the same time. It's really no surprise that most of the backlash comes from the western world (north america). To the people here, it is not their liking. Too many people, it is too "flashy", "confusing", and "mysterious".
